Bootcamp

Oliver Pineda (AUSTRALIA)

This isn’t just a series of classes, it’s a step-by-step journey into the heart of musicality. Each hour builds on the last, guiding you from musical awareness to full-body expression, both solo and with a partner. By joining all four sessions, you’ll gain a deep, embodied understanding of what makes dancing truly musical and discover the very principles that shape the way I as a 10 x World Salsa Champion experience dance on the dance floor. If you want to transform how you hear, feel, and move to the music, this is where it begins.

Workshop 1

Oscillation In Action
Get ready to move & dance from the very first minute. Discover how salsa music naturally oscillates in energy and learn you how to mirror that energy through your dancing. In this highly practical session, you’ll explore dynamic exercises that teach you how to translate musical highs and lows into expressive, textured movement. Through guided movement drills and real-time application, you'll feel the shifts, respond with your body, and bring your dancing to life in a whole new way.

Workshop 2

Rhythmic Interpretation Made Real
This hour is all about rhythm but not just hearing it, moving it. You'll be dancing nonstop as we explore the different rhythms that commonly appear in salsa music and how they influence movement. Expect practical exercises that train your ears, body, and timing to respond with precision, style, and groove. You’re dancing will never feel so connected and alive.

Workshop 3

Musicality in Partnering
Learn how to creatively interpret musical moments like breaks, syncopations, and hits with your partner, without losing flow or connection. This hands on workshop will show you how to add flair, surprise, and musical precision into your partner work, while staying grounded in strong lead-follow technique. You’ll be dancing together, experimenting, and applying musical ideas directly into your partnering.

Workshop 4

Musical Integration: The Final Jam
Now it’s time to combine everything you've learned. In this final session, you’ll be up and dancing the entire hour as we build a mini routine that integrates shines (solo work) and partner work to apply oscillation, rhythm, and musical creativity in real time. This is where it all clicks, giving you the tools to dance musically, confidently, and with complete freedom. It’s not about memorising steps, it’s about locking the learning in your mind & unlocking your potential through your body.

Many & Adrianita (NY & MEXICO)

Learn how to transition smoothly from On1 to On2, improve timing, footwork, and partner coordination. Ideal for dancers wanting to adapt or switch styles confidently.

Svetlana Ray (RUSSIA)

Workshop 1

Musical Toolset (1.5h)
Before diving into wild creativity, you’ll get a strong base of musicality patterns, so you look musical from the start.

After this class:
*Your basic step will match the music and look fresh
*Even when you're thinking, you’ll still dance musically
*You’ll have stylish, ready-to-use patterns to hit the music
Musicality is a huge world, but you’ll get a small, solid “boat” of fundamentals to rely on. Even top dancers use cool basics—I'll show you how, and you’ll be ready to shine at the party the same day.

This class is for you if:
*You freeze during solo moments
*You keep going back to your basic step
*You’re bored of your own moves
*You have long “what now?” pauses
*You feel stuck creatively and need a solid start

Workshop 2

Musical Connection (1.5h)
New class created just for Diamond Salsa Weekend!
You’ll learn to use your musicality to create real connection with your partner—moments they’ll remember and want to relive again and again.

After this class:
*You’ll know what kinds of partner interactions are possible
*Try them all and find your favorites
*Learn how to co-create with your partner
*Break your limits and surprise yourself
*Start creating fresh ideas on the spot

No choreos. No routines. Just you, your partner, the music and tools to turn it into magic. If solos scare you or you’re stuck repeating the same footwork, this class will change the game.
